Georgia insider said the quiet part out loud over Carson Beck's game-ending INT

When the Hurricanes lost the National Championship game, Miami quarterback Carson Beck was classic... well... Carson Beck.

Well, fans of the Georgia Bulldogs could have told you this was coming from a mile (or a few hundred miles) away.

Unsurprisingly, Miami quarterback Carson Beck threw an interception that clinched the National Championship win for the Indiana Hoosiers. Afterwards, Georgia fans flocked to social media to share their lack of surprise over the INT.

"That is the Carson Beck Georgia fans know. Inevitable," Radi Nabulsi, a publisher of UGASports, said on X.

Carson Beck is exactly who Georgia fans know he is

When Beck left the Bulldogs for the Miami Hurricanes, fans were upset cause it never feels good to lose a player to another team. However, they weren't screaming that it was the end of the world; Georgia had other quarterbacks and Beck had just blown it in a big game once again, after all.

Yes, Beck was on the Miami team that played in the National Championship, while the Bulldogs saw yet another early exit from the College Football Playoff. However, nobody was claiming that it was Beck who led the Hurricanes to the title game.

To put it lightly, Georgia fans saw Beck's collapse coming, and the Hurricanes (led by head coach Mario Cristobal) should have seen it too.

Beck finished his National Championship appearance with 232 passing yards for just one touchdown and the virtual game-ending interception. In classic Beck fashion, he lost yards on the ground and never found the end zone with his legs.

Despite his rocky (and shockingly long) collegiate career, Beck will undoubtedly declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, where he will fall well behind Indiana's quarterback Fernando Mendoza in the draft order.
