Georgia football could still use a little help in their 2026 recruiting class on the offensive line. Specifically at offensive tackle where the Bulldogs have just one player committed to their recruiting class.
Up to this point it hasn't been known who Georgia is still targeting at offensive tackle, but a new report from On3 shows that the Bulldogs have their eyes set on a tackle that is currently committed to rival Florida.
Top 100 OT Tyler Chukuyem is solidly committed to Florida. Georgia continues to keep in touch though an offer has not come yet. He dives in on what that means. #GoDawgs

Georgia has their eyes set on a Forida OT commit
According to On3, Georgia is continuing to communicate with Florida offensive tackle commit Tyler Chukuyem. According to On3, he is a top 100 player in the country, so he clearly would be a huge addition to Georgia's recruiting class.
There is a problem however because Georgia has still not offered Chukuyem. So would he even be interested in Georgia if he Bulldogs offered this late in his recruiting process? On top of that, Chukuyem has been committed to Florida since mid-June, so who knows if he wants to ditch the Gators in the first place.
There is however reason for Georgia fans to be hopeful because it sounds like Chukuyem is willing to listen to Georgia's recruiting pitch. If he was 100 percent committed to Florida then he wouldn't even want to hear what Georgia has to say, but that appears to not be the case.
Even if Chukuyem is listening to Georgia's pitch, he can't flip to UGA until Georgia offers him. And assuming Georgia does offer him, this report indicates that he is still "solidly" committed to Florida. So while there is a chance UGA could flip him, it's going to take a lot of work to pull that off.
But Kirby Smart has pulled off bigger recruiting upsets before, so Georgia shouldn't be counted out in this battle just yet.
