Georgia has been on the prowl looking for a new quarterback to add to their program ever since Jared Curits ditched UGA for Vanderbilt. Up to this point they have been unable to find anyone in the 2026 recruiting class, so the next best option was to hit the Transfer Portal and look for a quarterback to add.
And it looks like Kirby Smart and his staff have found their guy as On3's Pete Nakos has officially predicted that Oregon transfer Bryson Beaver will transfer to Georgia.
#Georgia has just received a prediction to land Oregon transfer QB Bryson Beaver by Pete Nakos of ON3. 🐶

Georgia predicted to make big QB splash in the Transfer Portal
Beaver is a member of the 2026 recruiting class who was committed to Oregon. Not only was he committed to the Ducks, but he signed his letter of intent and even enrolled at Oregon on Jan. 5. But he has already decided that Oregon isn't the school for him anymore for one big reason.
Oregon made some big news earlier this week when star quarterback Dante Moore announced that he was going back to Eugene for one more season. He was projected to be the No. 2 pick in this summer's NFL Draft, so this decision threw some wrinkles in Oregon's plans at QB.
This news however probably didn't push Beaver out, but Oregon adding Nebraska transfer Dylan Raiola may have. Beaver likely wouldn't have been ready to start at Oregon this fall, so Moore coming back wsn't really an issue. But Raiola going to Oregon to sit for a year before starting in 2027 was something he probably was not expecting.
Georgia hans't officially won his recruitment yet, and Beaver actually hasn't officially entered the Transfer Portal yet either. But that is the expectation as of Thursday evening, and if he does Georgia will be ready to snag him fast.
Beaver is the No. 12 QB in the 2026 recruiting class, so he clearly is one of the best available players for Georgia to add to their quarterback room. And while he isn't as good as Curtis on paper, he is about as good of a replacement as Georgia will be able to find.
