Offensive linemen aren't supposed to be able to move like that.

Georgia’s coaching staff have begun to put a huge emphasis on recruiting the 2027 class. They have identified a lot of players that are a top priority for them, and that includes multiple high level recruits on the offensive line.

Offensive linemen are arguably the most important position for Georgia on the football field. UGA will always have great play from their quarterback, running backs and wide receivers, but without an effective offensive line none of that matters. Thankfully they are in a good spot with a lot of talented linemen in the 2027 class, but Jatori Williams is one player that Georgia should prioritize even more.

Top Georgia target goes viral on the basketball court

Williams is a four-star offensive lineman out of Alabama. According to the 247Sports composite rankings Williams is the No. 107 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 6 offensive lineman in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Alabama.

Georgia has shown interest in Williams throughout his recruitment, but a recent highlight of him on the basketball court went viral and it shows that UGA would be wise to make him one of their top targets.

Williams is 6’5 and 330 pounds. Typically someone of that size just camps down low looking for post touches on the basketball court, but that isn’t Williams. He showed of his elite athleticism that shouldn’t really be possible at his size by weaving between defenders all the way to the basket where he finished off the play with a lay up.

That type of athleticism is exactly what Georgia needs on their offensive line.

Williams is yet to announce the schools at the top of his recruitment, but it’s likely that he is receiving interest from a lot of the top programs across the country. But after this highlight play it would be smart for Georgia to do whatever it takes to get him in their recruiting class.
