Georgia football is once again in a heated battle on the recruiting trail against one of their rivals. This time however it isn’t against one of their traditional rivals in Auburn, Florida and Georgia Tech.
The one other team that Georgia fans would think about putting into that group is Alabama. The Tide have been a thorn in Georgia’s side for quite some time now. Sure the Bulldogs best Alabama in the National Championship game, but that is the only win against Alabama since 2007. And during that time, everyone knows how dominant Alabama was not just in the SEC, but on a national scale as well.
So it goes without saying that Alabama is the only team that Georgia is still chasing when it comes to the powers of the college football world. So whenever they are up against the Tide on the recruiting trail, it is always important to come away with a win.
Especially when that player is already committed to Alabama.

4-star EDGE Jabarrius Garror
Jabarrius Garror is a four-star EDGE from Mobile, AL. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Garror is the No. 41 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 5 EDGE in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 1 overall player from Alabama.
Garror has been committed to Alabama since last July, and knowing how good of a program the Tide are will make this a challenging recruitment to win. However, the Bulldogs are going to get their chance as 247Sports reported that Garror will be visiting campus this week.
It’s unclear however how good Georgia’s chances are, but they have to have at least a slim chance or else Garror wouldn’t be wasting his time coming to Georgia. So stay tuned for Garror’s reaction to this visit because that will tell Georgia fans how interested he is in potentially flipping to UGA or not.
