Georgia football fans love a good flip. There are plenty of recruits Kirby Smart and his staff target that are committed to other programs every year, but some of these flip candidates stand out compared to the others.
One reason why a flip candidate may be more exciting than others is when that recruit is an in-state prospect for Georgia. There's no secret that Smart and his staff have been putting an emphasis on recruiting the Peach State the last few years, so every target from Georgia that UGA pursues is a big deal.
While there are many recruits from Georgia that UGA is pushing hard for, there is a new name for Georgia fans to get to know. That is wide receiver Terrious Favors, who is currently committed to Boise State.
Georgia hasn't been aggressively pursuing Favors for that long, but a report from DawgsHQ indicates that he is now a top priority for Georgia.
Boise State WR commit Terrious Favors continues to hear Georgia out. He’s in Athens today and will be back this weekend for an official visit. Favors is hearing Georgia’s pitch. #GoDawgs

Georgia has their eye set on an in-state flip candidate
According to DawgsHQ, Favors was in Athens earlier this week on an unofficial visit. That visit must have gone very well, because he will be back at Georgia this weekend on an official visit.
Sure this trip is easy for him to make since he is from Atlanta, but the fact that he is making multiple trips during this same week while committed to another program is very noteworthy.
Favors does seem like a recruit that would be more than happy to flip to Georgia if given the green light from Smart and his staff. No disrespect to Boise State because they are one of the top group of five programs in the country, but they just don't compare to Georgia. So if UGA wants a player committed to Boise State that is from the state of Georgia, they really don't stand much of a chance.
So be sure to pay close attention to Favors after his visit this weekend, because there is a great chance he officially joins the Bulldogs recruiting class when his visit is all said and done.
