There are a lot of question marks surrounding Georgia football's offense heading into next season. The biggest question mark is at quarterback and if Gunner Stockton will be able to step in and replace Carson Beck. But the Bulldogs' offensive line has a lot of talent to replace as well, and even a couple additions at wide receiver from the transfer portal won't eliminate the fears of that group struggling again next season.
But the one position that doesn't really have any question marks on offense is running back. Sure Georgia got some bad news when Trevor Etienne decided to declare for the NFL Draft, but the Bulldogs have a star in the making ready to take over as the full time starter. And that is Nate Frazier.
Usually it is always a little concerning when a young running back will be taking over as the full time starter for the first time, but that is not the case with Frazier. In fact, the Georgia fanbase has zero concerns about Frazier's abilities based on how well he did as a true freshman in 2024.
And the below workout clip from this offseason shows once again why there is no need to panic about Frazier taking over as the starter in the backfield.
Running back Nate Frazier
Frazier was called upon early and often during his true freshman 2024 season. This was not the plan for Kirby Smart and his staff, but they did not have much of a choice after three key running backs suffered injuries during the season.
And while it was scary at first when Frazier first took over, he immediately showed how great of a talent he is. Frazier stepped in and recorded 133 carries for 671 yards and eight touchdowns. He also added 12 receptions for an additional 85 yards as well.
Now that Frazier will be the full time starter in the fall, expectations are sky high for him. But Frazier will more than certainly be able to achieve those expectations because he already surpassed any expectation set before him last season.
