Georgia football just took down Texas last weekend in the SEC Championship game 22-19 in overtime. This win on its own should be enough to grab the attention of recruits and show them why they should come to Georgia.

Winning championships is the goal of every recruit in the country, and no program is doing that better right now than Georgia. Not only have they won two of the last three SEC Championships, but they also have won two of the last three National Championships with a chance to make it three of the last four in the College Football Playoff this season.

And while all of that will be used in Kirby Smart's pitch to recruits, a soundbite from running back Trevor Etienne while he was celebrating Georgia's SEC Championship win is a great clip to use with recruits as well.

His message was simple, "This is why you come to Georgia."

Trevor Etienne is one of the best examples for recruits

Etienne spent his first two seasons in college at Florida before deciding to make the move to Georgia this past offseason. And while he did find a lot of individual success at a solid program like Florida, they were not even close to competing for championships like Georgia. So he decided to make the move from Florida to Georgia, which is a pretty wild decision considering how big of rivals these two programs are.

That move alone is reason enough for recruits to pay more attention to Georgia, because it is very uncommon for someone to move from one rival to another. But that just speaks to how great of a program Georgia is.

Etienne was told for multiple years at Florida that he should hate Georgia, but that clearly did not stick with him. He saw Georgia win an SEC and National Championship while at Florida and also saw the elite culture that the program has. So even though he is supposed to hate Georgia, UGA's culture and success trumped that and was something he had to be a part of.

And Etienne's transfer to Georgia is paying off for him as he is the lead running back on an SEC Championship team who is the 2-seed in the CFP.

This clip from Etienne should be shared with every recruit, because he is the perfect case study for why recruits should pick Georgia over other programs.
