Georgia football took down Kentucky 35-14 on Saturday to move to 4-1 on the season. A win was extremely important because the Bulldogs couldn't afford to lose their second game of the season this early in the year, but thankfully they were able to overwhelm a severly overmatched Kentucky team.

Georgia entered the past week ranked No. 12 in the country. Most UGA fans would agree that Georgia is much better than No. 12 in the country, but they were going to have to prove it on the field before moving up in the AP Poll. But after a dominant performance against Kentucky along with two upsets ahead of them, Georgia is officially back in the AP Poll's top 10 at No. 10.

No. 7 Penn State lost to UCLA and No. 9 Texas fell to Florida on Saturday. Both Penn State and Texas fell outside of the top 25 altogether, so this allowed Georgia to move up to No. 10.

Ohio State held steady at No. 1 after beating Minnesota 42-3. Miami (FL) slid up one spot to No. 2 after taking down Florida State on the road 28-22. Oregon, Ole Miss and Texas A&M round out the AP Poll's top five entering week seven of the college football season.

Up next for Georgia is a matchup against unranked Auburn on the road. The Tigers were ranked earlier this season, but they dropped their last two games against Oklahoma and Texas A&M to fall outside of the top 25. This Auburn team is more than capable of beating Georgia though, so UGA will have to be ready for a battle if they want to win and hold on to their top 10 ranking.
