Georgia football has a massive weekend on their hands. Not only do they have a huge game against No. 7 Tennessee, but they are also hosting a large number of elite recruits as well.

While there are many key players visiting at every position, the group that everyone should be paying attention to the most are the quarterbacks.

Current four-star QB commit Ryan Montgomery will be in town this weekend, but he will not be the only quarterback from the 2025 class visiting Athens. It was previously reported that another four-star QB, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, will be at Georgia this weekend as well, which makes for a potentially awkward encounter.

More often than not, schools only recruit one quarterback in their recruiting class. So the fact that a new QB is visiting alongside Montgomery could be a little weird for everyone involved.

So while having these two QBs on campus together may already be pretty awkward, Smart has decided to add yet another name to the list.

5-star QB Julian Lewis

Five-star QB Julian Lewis was recently reported to also be visiting Georgia this weekend for their game against Tennessee as well. Lewis, who is currently committed to USC, appears very motivated to leave the Trojans as he has also shown a lot of interest in Colorado recently as well.

So Smart and his staff now have two new QB recruits visiting this weekend along with Montogomery who is currently committed to the class. As mentioned, it is uncommon for programs to recruit more than one QB in each class, so this could raise some concerns for Montgomery.

Surely this is something Smart has already spoken with Montgomery about, so Montogomery still visiting Athens this weekend is a good sign that he might still be locked in with Georgia. But it will be very interesting to see how this weekend goes for Georgia and these prospects.

Will Montgomery stay committed to Georgia's class? Will UGA be able to flip Lewis or Sagapolutele and add another elite QB to their class?

That is what we will find out this weekend, and thankfully we won't have to wait too long as the early signing period begins in just a few short weeks.
