Georgia football is the best program in the SEC right now. However, remaining the No. 1 program in the conference will be extremely difficult each season especially with the SEC expanding and adding more teams.
The SEC is only one year in after adding two college football blue bloods to their conference, but more rumors are beginning to swirl about two new additions that could take place in the future.

Clemson, North Carolina rumored to have interest in joining SEC
Georgia has shown that the additions of Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC has not impacted their ability to remain at the top of the conference. However, it likely is just a matter of time until both programs, especially Texas, wins the SEC and seriously challenges Georgia as the best program in the SEC.
The potential of adding Clemson to the conference would make it even more challenging for Georgia in the SEC than it already is.
No offense to North Carolina, but they are not a program that anyone at Georgia would be concerned about on the football field. Clemson however would have the potential to be a road block for Georgia in the conference as they are one of the most consistent programs in the country.
Adding the Tar Heels would make a lot of sense because of their status as a basketball power though. The SEC has their fair share of elite basketball teams right now, but only Kentucky has any claim to being a blue blood in the sport. So adding North Carolina would immediately give the SEC another top basketball program in the country.
At this point this report is just a rumor, and if any school was going to join the SEC it wouldn't occur for multiple years. But Georgia football fans should be a little nervous seeing Clemson join the SEC because they have been one of the top programs in the country over the last 15 years.
