Georgia football’s second recruiting weekend of June is coming to an end, so that means UGA fans are waiting for one thing. A new commitment.
Georgia’s last commitment in the 2026 class was only a few days ago when top 50 corner Justice Fitzpatrick made his intentions to head to UGA official on June 3. But since Georgia’s hosting 18 recruits this weekend on official visits, the expectation is for Kirby Smart and Georgia to receive more good news very soon from these recruits in town.
While no Bulldog has committed yet, Georgia did receive a new prediction on Sunday to land a coveted in-state offensive lineman.

Georgia predicted to land 3-star lineman fresh off Georgia visit
On3’s Steve Wiltfong has officially logged a prediction for Georgia to land a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Zachary Lewis.
According to 247Sports, Lewis is about as high of a three-star as a recruit can possibly be. He also is the No. 32 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 53 overall player from Georgia.
Lewis holds many scholarship offers from other solid programs including Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss, but it’s Georgia’s in-star rival who is the biggest competition for Lewis. Georgia Tech was the only other school to have scheduled an official visit with Lewis, and this visit took place last weekend. But Georgia appears to have knocked it out of the park this weekend in Athens, so much so that a commitment from Lewis could be coming soon.
No timeline for a potential announcement is known, but it feels like a commitment could come very soon. So stay tuned, because Georgia could be closing in on landing another top target that will help UGA continue to climb the recruiting rankings.
