Georgia just beat Alabama on the road 20-17, but they don't have a lot of time to celebrate because they get Auburn at home next week in their first rivalry game of the season.

Vegas is already weighing in on this game, and they unsurprisingly predict Georgia will win. In fact, Vegas believes Georgia will win by a wide margin, but they don't think it will be by as many points as Georgia has been winning throughout most of this season.

Georgia football vs Auburn early odds

Georgia is favored over Auburn by 18.5 points according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over-under for this matchup is set at 49.5 points as well.

ESPN is high on Georgia's chance in this game as well as they give the Bulldogs a 90.3 percent chance to win this game.

Outside of the Alabama game Georgia has won every game by at least 24 points. Auburn is much closer to the level of the five other teams that Georgia's blown out this season, but Vegas for some reason doesn't think UGA will win by as wide of a margin. This could be something Georgia could use to motivate themselves to try and show Vegas they can still blow teams out even after barely beating Alabama.

Georgia will be playing Auburn with some added pressure

There will be some added pressure on Georgia during this game. The Bulldogs just earned one of the best wins in all of college football by beating Alabama on the road, so now the expectations are for them to cruise the rest of the season especially against lesser competition. That will be the case even more so this week since Georgia will likely be the new No. 1 team in the country thanks to Texas' upset loss to Oklahoma.

Georgia already had a target on their back this season after winning the SEC two years in a row, but that target grew even bigger after beating Alabama. Being the No. 1 team in the country though will make that target as large as possible.

Auburn would love nothing more than to come into Athens and beat Georgia, so they undoubtedly will bring their best game. It is up to Georgia though to not get in their heads and focus on the task at hand because while beating Alabama is nice, they still haven't actually accomplished anything yet this season.

Auburn could push Georgia more than they'd like to admit

Auburn is 3-2 entering this game after coming off their bye week. That means the Tigers will be more fresh than Georgia which gives them a bit of an advantage, but Georgia is still expected to win easily. Auburn however has also kept things close with Georgia in recent years.

Last year Georgia only beat Auburn 20-10. Auburn had a 10-0 lead and nearly made it 17-0 before halftime, but a fumble on the goal line propelled Georgia to score 20 unanswered points and win.

The last time these teams played in Athens the Bulldogs won rather easily 31-13, but three years ago Georgia only won 27-20. Auburn has not been good for a long time, yet they've still been able to play Georgia competitively in two of their last three matchups. So even though Georgia is a big favorite in this game Auburn might have some confidence that they can play well.

The only thing that matters for Georgia is earning another victory, it would be nice though to have a stress free win to sail into the bye week as comfortable as possible.
