Georgia football received some good news on the injury front earlier this week as two of their starting offensive linemen have a chance to play against Tennessee. Juan Gaston and Earnest Greene are the two starters on the right side of UGA's offensive line, but both missed Georgia's week two game after suffering injuries during their week one win against Marshall.

Georgia's latest injury report lists Greene as probable to play and Gaston as questionable, so there is still hope UGA will have both against Tennessee this weekend. The same however can't be said for Tennessee who have ruled out their star offensive tackle David Sanders.

Tennessee's 5-star OT ruled out vs Georgia

Sanders is a five-star offensive tackle who is in his first season with the Volunteers. He was a memeber of the 2025 recruiting class and was the No. 11 overall player in the country, so it's easy to see how elite of a player he is.

Sanders has been dealing with a shoulder injury that has forced him to miss the entire season up to this point. Some thought his first appearance in a Volunteers uniform could have been this weekend against Georgia, but that has turned out to not be the case.

Sanders isn't the only elite Volunteer to be ruled out for Saturday's contest as Tennessee's top two corners have both been ruled out as well.

All of these injuries haven't impacted Tennessee up to this point as they began their season with a comfortable week one win against Syracuse before dominating East Tennessee State last week. But Tennessee hasn't played a team like Georgia who will be better equipped to take advantage of these injuries.

The showdown between Georgia and Tennessee is scheduled for 3:30 pm EST on Saturday, Sep. 13 in Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN.
