Gunner Stockton has a very important job this offseason. He already proved last season that he is one of the best players in the country, but he needs to make big strides this offseason if he is going to lead Georgia back to the top of the college football world.
But that doesn't mean he isn't allowed to have a little fun this offseason as well. And it just so happens that he experienced an unforgettable moment on Thursday.

Gunner Stockton spotted meeting President Donald Trump
President Donald Trump descended on the Peach State on Thursday, and upon his arrival he was greeted by none other than Georgia's star quarterback. This seems like an extremely random interaction because why would President Trump want to see Stockton in the first place? But things are never random with the President of the United States, so this was likely planned.
President Trump is a known sports fan. It's unlikely that he is a fan of Georgia, but he undoubtedly loves any athlete that competes and wins at the highest level. And Stockton fits that discription to perfection.
Also joining Stockton and President Trump in this interaction is superstar running back Herschel Walker. President Trump and Walker do have a little history of their own, so their interaction isn't that strange or random at all. But seieng Stockton in this interaction feels a bit odd, but maybe that just has to do with the fact that he's wearing blue jeans when meeting the President of the United States.
That is the exact person Stockton is though, so surely President Trump respects that.
The only question that's left is if President Trump is a Georgia fan now? Maybe he is or maybe he isn't, but if Georgia makes a run at a National Championship there is probably a good chance he will be on the Bulldogs' side.
