Gunner Stockton receives stamp of approval from legendary QBs

The quarterback position is the by far the biggest question mark entering the 2025 season for Georgia football. Gunner Stockton projects to be the starter for the Bulldogs, and that fact alone is why many college football analysts and fans are doubting Georgia this season.

This isn’t the first time Georgia has had to start a new quarterback for the first time, and in years past this has not stopped Georgia form finding success. But for whatever reason, people think Stockton will be nowhere good enough to lead Georgia to a great season this year.

While people continue to doubt Stockton, all he can do is continue to work this offseason and prepare for the season ahead as best he can. And that preparation will include a stop at the Manning Passing Academy later this June.

Gunner Stockton invited to elite summer passing academy

As one would assume by the name, the Manning Passing Academy is a quarterback camp reserved for the best quarterbacks in the country that is hosted by Eli and Peyton Manning. This event doesn’t just invite anyone, they only allow college quarterbacks they believe are the best of the best. And it turns out that Stockton made the cut for this summer camp.

The Manning Passing Academy will take place June 26 through 29, and this will give Stockton a golden opportunity to learn from some of the best QBs of all time. He also will be able to compete against many of the other top college quarterbacks in the country to see how he stacks up against them as well.

The fact that Stockton will attend this camp likely won’t change the negative narrative surrounding him and Georgia entering this season. But the fact of the matter is that this is a big deal and an indication that Stockton deserves more hype.
