2. Georgia adds more talent to the secondary
Not only did Georgia improve at wide receiver through the transfer portal, they also got a lot better in the secondary as well.
The first player to transfer to Georgia in the secondary was Zion Branch. And yes, he is the brother of the already mentioned Zachariah Branch. Both Branch brothers come to Georgia from USC and made it known from the second they entered the portal that they were a package deal. So Smart and his staff had to convince both brothers that Georgia was the right place for them, which they clearly were able to do better than their competition.
Georgia however was not done adding talent to the secondary as they also earned a commitment from Miami (FL) transfer Jaden Harris. Harris didn't have as much drama surrounding his announcement like the Branch brothers, but he is a very good player who will challenge for a starting spot in the fall. And the good news is that even if he doesn't win a starting job, he will be an elite option off the bench for Georgia's defense that will be able to contribute in the fall.
