Georgia football is a few days removed from their week one destruction of Marshall, and up next for the Bulldogs is a home date with Austin Peay. This game has the potential to be even more lopsided than Georgia’s first game of the season, but UGA fans will still be just as excited to see their team take the field again.

But before the game begins, here is all the information Georgia fans need to know to watch Georgia and Austin Peay do battle.

How to catch Georgia football take on Austin Peay

Georgia's game against Austin Peay unfortunately won't be as easy to find on TV this week as the game will not be aired on national TV. Georgia fans will only be able to watch this game on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.

Since this game won’t be on national TV, Georgia fans will get to listen to a relatively unknown broadcast crew. Clay Matvick will be the lead play-by-play commentator while Chase Daniel will join him in the booth as the color commentator. Madison Fitzpatrick will be the third member of the crew who will be reporting from the sideline.

Georgia and Austin Peay are scheduled to do battle on Saturday, Sep. 6 at 3:30 pm EST.

Saturday will be Georgia’s last game before their SEC season begins. Looming next week is a massive showdown at Tennessee that will set the tone for the rest of Georgia’s season.

The Bulldogs do still need to get past Austin Peay, but they should have no issues doing that considering ESPN’s computer metric gives them a 99 percent chance to win this game. So this will be a great opportunity for Georgia to figure out their true identity and what they need to do to be successful this season, because once the Tennessee game gets here there won’t be much time to breathe.
