Georgia football takes on Florida today in their annual clash with the Gators in Jacksonville. The hype surrounding this game is as large as ever, but that is to be expected when these two rivals face each other.

With both teams coming off a bye week, the expectation was for both teams to be very healthy entering this game. However, that hasn't necessarily been the case for either team.

Florida is still getting hit pretty hard with the injury bug, and the Bulldogs already have eight players ruled out today. Thankfully, two of them (Joenel Aguero and Dan Jackson) are only out for the first half after their targeting penalties in the second half against Texas.

But there are two players who are on the verge of making a return, and one of those is star offensive lineman Tate Ratledge.

Is Tate Ratledge suiting up today against Florida?

Per Georgia football's injury report earlier this week, Ratledge is probable for the Bulldogs game against Florida. That however has changed an hour before the game.

Ratledge has suited up for Georgia's last two games and would have been used in case of an emergency, but thankfully that wasn’t needed so Ratledge could be saved for when he is fully healthy. Now that Ratledge is fully healthy, we will get to see how he looks for the first time in over a month.

The impact Ratledge will have on the offense will be huge for UGA. He was a starter before suffering his injury against Kentucky and someone that Carson Beck knows he can feel comfortable with on his offensive line. That extra comfortability could be exactly what Beck needs to take the Georgia offense to the next level.

Seeing Ratledge trot on the field for Georgia’s first possession will be awesome to see, and don't be surprised to see the offense immediately look better with him out there.
