James Cook has quickly become one of the biggest faces in the entire NFL. Georgia football fans won't be surprised to see his career take off like it has, but what he is accomplishing at this point in his career is nothing short of spectacular.

Cook already has an impressive NFL resume, but he was just named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for the month of September which takes his standing in the NFL to another level.

James Cook cements himself as top NFL running back

Expectations were sky high for Cook with the Buffalo Bills this season, and so far he has shattered all of those expectations set before him. So far this season Cook has recorded 401 rush yards on 75 carries through four games. He also has found the end zone five teams as well which puts him ahead of his 16 touchodwn pace set during the 2024 season.

Cook is one of the biggest reasons why the Buffalo Bills are so feared in the NFL. Everyone knows how great quarterback Josh Allen and Buffalo's passing attack is, but adding in one of the best running backs in the NFL in Cook has taken their offense to another level.

Cook entered the 2025 season as the No. 8 running back in the NFL according to his peers. That however has quickly become outdated as there is no chance there are seven better running backs in the league right now.

The Bills are aperfect 4-0 this season and already have a two game lead in the AFC East standings. But their goals are much greater than just winning their division and making the playoffs. Buffalo's ultimate goal is to win the Super Bowl, and they have as good of a chance as anyone to do that.

Up next for the Bills is a home game against the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football where a win would give them a comanding three game lead in the AFC East.
