Georgia football has arguably the biggest game of their season on Saturday against Texas. A win is as important as ever before because a loss would eliminate Georgia's chances of repeating as SEC Champions this season. A loss would also put their College Football Playoff lives in jeopardy as well.
Speaking of the CFP, Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt said something very interesting about Georgia and the playoff earlier this week, and this is the exact thing that UGA needed to hear to be as motivated as possible to beat Texas.
"Texas A&M, Bama, Georgia and Ole Miss playing for basically the right to go to the playoff this weekend in home games."

Joel Klatt said the exact thing Georgia needed to hear
Georgia has a lot of goals that they want to accomplish every season. One of those goals is getting to the College Football Playoff, and Klatt said that a win against Texas would be enough to lock Georgia into the CFP this season.
A win against Texas would give Georgia a 9-1 record which is technically one win shy from the agreed upon magic number of 10. But the Bulldogs play Charlotte at home next week, so barring what would be the biggest upset in college football history Georgia would win that game and officially have a good enough resume to make it into the CFP.
Klatt also pointed out that Texas A&M, Alabama and Ole Miss are in the same scenario as Georgia as well. They all play at home this week as well, so the SEC more than likely will have four playoff spots locked up after this weekend.
So while Georgia wants to win the SEC and make a run at a National Championship, making it into the CFP is a very important goal each season. And Klatt believes Georgia will accomplish that goal Saturday night in Sanford Stadium if they handle their business against the Longhorns.
