One of the best plays in football is when a big man scores a touchdown. There's just something weirdly satisfying about seeing a 300 pound lineman rumbling down the field and scoring what could be the only touchdown of their career.
Not many linemen get the opportunity to do that throughout their NFL careers, but former Georgia Bulldog Jordan Davis did just that for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Not only did Davis score a touchdown, but he did so on the final play of the game after the Eagles blocked what would have been the game-winning field goal for the Los Angles Rams.

Jordan Davis caught speeding but it's a good thing this time
This touchdown from Davis was huge because it iced the Eagles game against the Rams and helped complete their comeback victory. However, there is another factor at play here that will uspet sports bettors all over the world.
Philadelphia was favored by 3.5 points in this game, so the Rams would have covered the spread whether this field goal was made or not. So gamblers who had their money on the Rams were already counting their winnings without thinking there was even a chance they could lose.
Davis however said "not so fast" as he blocked the field goal, picked the ball up up and sped all the way for a touchdown to cover the spread in the most improbable way possible. Davis could have just gone down since the time already expired and still would have won the Eagles the game, but he wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to score a touchdown. Unfortunately that touchdown came at the expense of Rams bettors acorss the world.
However, there are equally as many bettors who put their money on the Eagles to cover who are now massive fans of Davis after this play.
This win by the Eagles takes Philadelphia to 3-0 on the season, and if Davis keeps making plays like this he could help lead the Eagles to yet another Super Bowl Championship.
