Georgia football's coaching staff hit the road this week to recruit some of the top players around the country. A lot of those efforts however were put on the top recruits from the state of Georgia that the staff is interested in.
While all of the recruits Georgia's staff visited are important, the players Kirby Smart visited are the ones that they care about the most. But that gets taken to another level when he arrives in his helicopter to visit a school to recruit a player.

Kirby Smart lands in style to recruit elite Peach State DB
The above video was posted on social media on Thursday showing Smart landing in his helicopter at Howard High School in Macon, GA. The post does not specifically state which player he is there to visit, but the 2027 recruiting rankings make it very obvious who he is there for.
Ta'Shawn Poole is a four-star safety from Howard High School who undeniably is the reason Smart was there. According to the 247Sports composite rankings he is the No. 71 oveall player in the country and the No. 6 safety. He also is the No. 8 overall player from the Peach State in the 2027 recruiting class.
Poole has not released any information when it comes to his recruitment yet. There is no favorite to win his recruitment and he hasn't even named any top schools either, but it's hard to imagine a scenario where Gerogia isn't one of the top schools on his list. And the fact that Smart arrived in his helicopter will only help Georgia's recruiting efforts.
Smart and his staff still have a lot of work to do if they are going to win this recruitment, but this feels like one that has a good chance to end in their favor.
