Georgia football got themselves back in the winning circle Saturday afternoon by beating Kentucky 35-14. Pretty much everything went UGA's way during this game, but there were a few mistakes that were made on both sides of the ball that need to be cleaned up.

This includes two interceptions that were thrown by Georgia QBs throughout the game. Gunner Stockton and backup Ryan Puglisi both accounted for one interception each, but it was the "errant throw" from Puglisi that Kirby Smart discussed during his postgame press conference.

"No mix-up. Errant throw, I guess. I mean, it was not a mix-up," Smart shared via 247sports.com. "We ran the route we called, and he threw the ball to the other team. That's an interception."

Kirby Smart not pleased with performance from Ryan Puglisi

Puglisi only comes in at the end of games when the game is already over, so his play really doesn't matter when it comes to the outcome of any one game. But Smart knows how important Puglisi's development is because all it takes is one injury to Stockton before Puglisi is forced to take over.

That is why Smart was so frustrated with the bad throw Puglisi made towards the end of the game on Saturday. Smart not only thinks it was an errant throw, but he also thinks he made a bad read on the play as well. So overall this was not a good rep for Puglisi.

So far this season Puglisi has completed 9 of 15 passes for 112 yards and one touchdown. He has however thrown two interceptions which is one more than Stockton has even though Stockton is the starter.

This will end the debate Georgia fans had about who the starter should be this season, but this does create serious concerns if Puglisi ever has to officially take over for Stockton this season. But these in game reps will do more for Puglisi than anything in practice will, so hopefully he is able to continue seeing the field throughout the rest of the season.
