Georgia football has had their fair share of struggles on offense this season. Quarterback Carson Beck has received the majority of the blame, but that just comes with the position whether it's deserved or not. But the one thing that has been the biggest struggle for UGA's offense this year is their wide receivers and how often they drop the ball.

Not only are the wide receivers one of the leaders in the country in total passes dropped, but many of them have ended drives when a catch would have given extended Georgia's drive with a first down.

So after 12 games of issues, one would think that the team would start losing faith in them. But that is not happening with Georgia. Both Kirby Smart and Beck spoke on Monday about how their confidence in Georgia's wide receivers has not wavered after all of the dropped passes.

"The number one way to get them to catch them is throw them more, so we've got to continue to show confidence and let those guys make plays," Smart said via 247sports.com.

"I still have confidence in those guys, and when they do catch them it's explosive. And what are we going to do, stop throwing the ball? No, we're going to continue to throw it," Beck shared. "We have confidence in them. We believe in them. I believe in them. Gosh, I mean they've made some huge plays this year to bring us back in games and put us in situations to lead these comebacks that we've had this year. So obviously we've just got to keep throwing it, and they're going to get open and they're going to make the play whenever their name is called."

Hopefully Georgia's receivers are able to improve by this weekend, because UGA is going to have to be at their best if they want to beat Texas in the SEC Championship game. But as long as both Smart and Beck haven't lost confidence in this group, then Georgia fans shouldn't either.
