Kirby Smart decided to have some fun at the expense of star defensive back KJ Bolden. Georgia just announced a new all-white uniform combo that they will wear for their week two matchup against Western Kentucky. Before announcing this to the public or to the entire team Smart reportedly pulled Bolden out of a team meeting to show him the new uniform combo.

When he was pulled out of the meeting Bolden thought he was in trouble, but instead he got to be one of the first players to see the all-white uniform combo Georgia will wear in just a few weeks.

There likely aren't too many reasons why a player would get pulled out of a meeting. From a player's perspective most of those reasons are probably bad because most coaches would want their players in their entire team meetings.

Kirby Smart took advantage of this and pulled Bolden out. This led him to be nervous that he did something that upset Smart, but instead he just wanted to show Bolden what this new uniform combination looked like.

Georgia doesn't use alternate uniforms too often, so that is likely why Smart wanted to give Bolden a sneak peak. Bolden shared that he loves the uniforms and "can't wait" to play in them, and seeing Georgia rock the all-white uniform with a white helmet should be a memorable moment for all the uniform lovers in the fan base.

This announcement was met with a lot of excitement from the fan base, but some fans were still begging for a different uniform to make another appearance too.

Georgia fans are still begging for all black uniforms

One of the most beloved alternate uniforms Georgia has used in recent years is the all-blacks. They haven't worn these jerseys since New Years Day in 2021, but fans haven't forgotten them and they really want Georgia to bring them back.

Georgia has worn a lot of memorable alternate uniforms in their history. The Nike Pro Combat uniforms from the 2011 season was a very unique design and the 1980 40-year anniversary throwback uniforms was an awesome gesture to one of Georgia's national championship teams that was highlighted during the 2020 season.

But it's the all-black uniforms that tend to be one of the fan favorites. Georgia fans dream of this uniform making a return, and whenever there is a night game in Sanford Stadium talk of these uniforms tends to ramp up. Smart hasn't give the fans what they've been asking for, but that won't stop them from begging for these uniforms to come back each season.

Who knows if they ever will, but this year Georgia will wear an all-white uniform for the first time. It may have been more exciting to debut them for a more exciting matchup than Western Kentucky, but seeing Georgia wear something new this season will be thrilling even if it's against a weaker opponent.
