Georgia football suffered another upsetting loss to Alabama on Saturday. This has become the norm during the Kirby Smart era, but it doesn't make it any less disappointing.

One could imagine that Georgia's locker room after this game was in a very depressing state. That is probably the case after any loss, but it's especially the case after losing to Alabama for the third year in a row.

When speaking with the media, Smart shared what transpired in the locker room after this game and what he did to help bring his team back to life to start getting ready for the rest of the season.

"I mean, if you're the leader of the organization and you're going to lead men, then you've gotta be at the front," Smart shared via 247sports.com. "You can't hide. That's always who I've been in terms of if things aren't going well, I want the responsibility for that. If things are going well, I want our players to get the acknowledgment and what they do well. If things aren't going well and we're not playing well or we're not doing this or we're not doing that, that's my responsibility and it starts with me and I want them to know that."

Kirby Smart proves once again that he is the best leader in all of college football

Smart could have yelled at his team. He could have told his team what went wrong and what they could have done better to beat Alabama. But instead he chose to stand at the front of the room, take responsibility for the loss, and show his entire team and coaching staff that he still believes in them.

That is the sign of a true leader. It's easy to stand in front of a group of people and lead them when things are going well, but Smart chose to be the best leader possible in the worst moment of the season. That is what it means to be a good leader.

Smart and Georgia's next opportunity this season is at home on Saturday against Kentucky. And by the looks of how Smart and Georgia are responding to this loss to Alabama, the Wildcats should be very nervous heading into this game.
