One of the best parts about the postseason is when game week finally gets here and Georgia football fans get an inside glimpse at how Kirby Smart and the team's preparations are going. Usually we don't get to see actual practice film during the season, but there is always a session of practice on the game field where media is allowed to watch Georgia.
However, instead of working on anything constructive while the media was present ahead of their College Football Playoff showdown, Smart chose to have his team do yoga during the entire media session.

Kirby Smart must really love yoga
This isn't the first time that Smart has had the team go through some stretching and yoga with the media present at practice before a big postseason game. A few years ago ahead of the National Championship game in this very building, Smart made the same decision and had his team do yoga when the media was present.
While this may seem like a silly thing to do, there likely is a good reason behind Smart choosing to do this. Smart likely doesn't want to give up any information on his team that Notre Dame would be able to use in their preparations for the game on Wednesday. Sure Smart could have gone through simple drills when the media was present that likely wouldn't reveal anything, but choosing to essentially do nothing is the best choice if this was his goal.
Yoga and stretching is an important thing for any athlete at this level to do, so it is a good thing for Georgia to do in general. But it is quite funny that Smart regularly chooses to do this when the media is present.
Who knows if this actually gives Georgia any sort of advantage or not, but the more UGA can keep Notre Dame in the dark the better, and this is doing just that.
