Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin isn't afraid to speak his mind. The Rebels head coach is constantly in the media complaining about something, and this time he is already getting upset over the potential game time for Georgia's future game against Ole Miss that hasn't even been announced yet.

“I’m over it. I just know what it’s gonna be. I told the commissioner… ‘we’re gonna play LSU, it’s gonna be day [here]. We’re gonna go down there, and it’s gonna be a night game,'” Kiffin said via saturdaydownsouth.com. “It is what it is. I’m sure we’ll be at night at Georgia, too… if you set [expectations] that way, you won’t be upset when it happens.”

Lane Kiffin is furious with the SEC

This may seem like a hilarious comment for a head coach to make, but there is some truth to it. During Kiffin's tenure at Ole Miss, they have only had a home night game against a ranked opponent once back in 2021. On the flip side, the Rebels have played a road night game three times in his tenure when Ole Miss was ranked.

So it's clear that there is a descrepancy, but it isn't as big of a deal as Kiffin is making it.

It is however very strange to get upset about what the game time for Georgia's upcoming game against Ole Miss could be since it has not been announced yet. It will be a few weeks before this game time is announced, but the consensus is that it will be a night game since both teams will be ranked.

Last season Georgia traveled to Ole Miss as a top five team which was a great chance for the Rebels to have a night game, but that game was a 3:30 pm EST start instead. And of course Kiffin voiced his frustrations at the time.

Georgia fans should want this game to be a night game because that will help make the atmosphere at Sanford Stadium even better, and seeing Kiffin freak out about that decision would be icing on the cake.
