Georgia football has had a lot of very talented teams during Kirby Smart's tenure in Athens. UGA's two National Championship teams defintely stand out, but the Bulldogs have had a few other elite teams as well.

However, Graham Coffey with Dawgs Central shared some data that shows Georgia's 2025 team will be the most talented team Smart has ever had at Georgia.

Georgia will have their best team yet in 2025

Blue-chip recruits are players who were consensus four or five-star recruits out of high school. When looking at the total number of blue-chip recruits on Georgia's roster, the 2025 team has the most UGA has ever seen during the Smart era.

This fall Georgia will have a whopping 72 blue-chip recruits on their team. This is a lot more than the 65 Georgia had last season and even more than Georgia had on their two National Championship winning teams as well.

When comparing this total to the rest of the country, Georgia has the third highest blue-chip ratio in the country. 84 percent of Georgia's roster this season will be made up of blue-chip recruits, which only trails Alabama and Ohio State who sit at 89 percent.

Everyone knows that just because Georgia has their most talented roster on paper this season doesn't mean they will win a lot of games. In theory they should, but many of Georgia's opponents this season have elite rosters as well, so it will not be easy for UGA to repeat as SEC Champions this season.

But this data shows that Georgia probably shouldn't be doubted as much as they are entering this season. However, the fact that so many people are doubting this Georgia team is actually a good thing because it gives Smart that much more ammunition to motivate his team throughout the season.
