Georgia football's offense has been one of the most efficient in the SEC so far this season. To fans it may not feel that way, but the Bulldogs actually lead the conference in total points scored during SEC play this season at 120.
Mike Bobo is a big reason for Georgia's success on offense. He has done an excellent job as Georgia's play caller and always seems to have a great play lined up that puts his team in a position to be successful. Unfortunately his best kept secret when it comes to what plays he calls was just revealed to the public as the below data shows just how often he is calling screen passes and jet sweeps.

Mike Bobo's offensive game plan was made public
According to the above data, nearly 23 percent of Gunner Stockton's passing yards so far this season have come from screens or jet sweeps. This percentage leads the country and is signficantly higher than any other SEC QB as no other quarterback in the conference is on this list.
So what does this data mean? This shows that Bobo calls a lot of screen passes and jet sweeps in his offense and is something that opposing teams should prepare for when they play Georgia.
Georgia fans have not been the biggest fans of Bobo this season. Even though Georgia's offense leads the SEC in points scored, they believe Bobo could be doing a better job as the offensive coordinator and that his playcalling isn't up to the standard at Georgia. But the main reason for this displeasure from fans might just be because screens and jet sweeps aren't very exciting.
Everyone wants to see the big throw down the field, but that is not where Stockton thrives. Stockton is at his best when he can make quick decisions and threaten the defense with his legs, and calling more screens and jet sweeps helps put Stockton in a better position.
Now that this data is public it will be interesting to see if defenses adjust to try and take this away from Georgia and Bobo. But Georgia fans should expect to see a lot more of these plays going forward because they clearly have been working so far this season.
