Nate Frazier gave Georgia fans quite the scare this past weekend. Everyone expected him to return to Georgia for his junior season, but Saturday rumors were spreading like wildfire that he could enter the Transfer Portal. His potential destination was even known as well as Ohio State was the team lurking in the shadows.
But Frazier slammed the door shut on those rumors and announced on Monday that he will be back this fall at Georgia.

Nate Frazier announces his final Transfer Portal decision
Frazier is coming off a very impressive sophomore season at Georgia. He finished the year running the ball for 947 yards and six touchdowns on 173 carries. He also added over 100 yards receiving and another touchdown through the air as well.
Frazier has cemented himself as one of the best running backs in the SEC. In fact, the argument could be made for him to be one of the best backs in the country. So the thought of him transferring was the worst case scenario for Georgia as they would be left with massive shoes to fill.
Thankfully Frazier announced his return so Georgia no longer has to wonder what life would be like without him.
The Bulldogs now have a chance to have a really special offense next season. Frazier will be the lead running back alongside Chauncey Bowens, and with a second year starter in Gunner Stockton they will be an unstoppable force. Georgia does still have some questions to answer at wide receiver after losing four of their top pass catchers to the NFL Draft, but they do have a lot of young guys who are ready to prove themselves out wide.
Frazier would’ve been an extremely detrimnetal loss, no one can deny that. That’s why the fanbase was smashing the panic button when the rumors of his transfer began to spread. But no one needs to worry about Frazier anymore as he will be back in Athens and ready to lead Georgia to another championship next season.
