Five-star quarterback Jayden Wade has been committed to Georgia for a few months now. He is the No. 1 player in the 2028 recruiting class, so that shows just how big of a deal his commitment is for Georgia.

But even though he is committed that won’t stop other schools from pursuing him. Unfortunately there are a few schools making some waves with him to the point that Wade is reportedly planning visits to other schools.

”I am going to take some visits and see different schools.”

5-star Jayden Wade is questioning his commitment to Georgia

This is the last thing any Georgia fan wants to see right now. Georgia is still recovering from fellow five-star quarterback Jared Curtis flipping to Vanderbilt a few months ago, so the thought of that happening again is too much to handle.

The good news for Georgia however is that Wade ended the above quote by confirming he is still 100 percent committed to UGA.

”I’m still locked with Georgia.”

Even if he is saying he is locked in with Georgia it still doesn't feel great that he is visiting other schools. That is especially the case when those schools are Tennessee and LSU who have the financial ability and pedigree to be able to steal a player like Wade from Georgia.

Wade's recruitment won't be over until December of 2027, so there was bound to be a lot of updates like this throughout the next 21 months. It is a shame that it is already happening, but overall this had to be expected.

But now Georgia fans just have to hope that Wade won't follow in Curtis's footsteps and will stay true to his word. At this point it still feels likely that he will stick with Georgia, but anything is possible.
