Georgia football is putting the final touches on their 2026 recruiting class. But as they do that, Kirby Smart and his staff need to begin putting more of an emphasis on the 2027 class.
One of the top targets in the 2027 class for Georgia is tight end Brock Williams. According to Rivals, Williams is the No. 1 tight end in the country, so it's clear why his recruitment is so important to UGA.
Williams made a big announcement on Monday as he named the three finalists in his recruitment, and Georgia officially made the cut along with Texas and Ohio State.

No. 1 TE Brock Williams puts Georgia in his top 3
Georgia's competition may be stiff for Williams, but UGA is in the perfect position in his recruitment right now. In fact, there's a chance that Georgia could be his top program right now because he already has a visit scheduled to Athens next weekend when the Bulldogs host No. 4 Ole Miss.
As long as both teams win this weekend this will be a top 10 matchup between two SEC contenders. Stages don't get much bigger than that and Sanford Stadium will be rocking. So getting Williams in town for that big of a game should go a long way in his recruitment.
Williams has not shared when he plans to announce his commitment, but there is a chance it could happen sooner rather than later since he has already narrowed his focus down to three schools. But at the end of the day all Georgia can do is put their best foot forward and hope it is enough to earn his commitment when the time comes.
