One of the best things that has happened for Georgia football outside of the program is the retirement of Nick Saban. Sure the Bulldogs won both of their National Championships under Kirby Smart while Saban was still the head coach at Alabama, but it's obvious how much easier life will be with Saban no longer coaching.
Since retiring a little over a year ago, Saban has quickly turned into one of the most relevant analysts and figures that college football media has to offer. Saban is constantly on TV whether it be on ESPN's College GameDay or in other appearances on shows talking about the SEC and college football.
Saban made a recent appearance on SportsCenter where he was talking about the upcoming SEC Media Days, and he gave a hilarious shoutout to Georgia at the end of his segment. His entire interview wasn't shared, but based on how he and the SportsCenter host signed off on their segment it sounds like he was fiving a lot of praise to the Bulldogs.
"You want me to say 'Go Dawgs' or what?"

Nick Saban gives Georgia a special message on live TV
After giving SportsCenter a "Go Dawgs" Saban quickly laughed it off because he didn't want to say that, but the SportCenter host was quick to celebrate her victory after getting him to say it.
While Georgia fans have hated Saban for a long time because of the stranglehold he had on college football and the SEC, he quickly is becoming someone that is impossible to hate. His knowledge of college football is out of this world, and he also doesn't let his Alabama ties get in the way of what his job is on TV.
It's too bad that Georgia couldn't have beaten Saban at Alabama more often, but with that all in the past it's very easy to become a fan of Saban now. And if he keeps having hilarious moments like this, he might even become one of the favorite analysts for most Georgia fans.
