There were countless elite recruits that were in town last weekend for Georgia football's big win against Tennessee. Most of the focus was on the 2025 recruiting class, but there was still a lot of emphasis on the 2026 recruiting class as well.

One of the top targets that Kirby Smart brought in from this class was the No. 1 running back in the country, Savion Hiter.

Hiter is the No. 1 running back in the country for the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He also is the No. 14 overall player in the country and the No. 1 player from his home state of Virginia.

As mentioned, Hiter was in Athens for Georgia's game against Tennessee last weekend, and apparently he loved everything that he saw. So much so that he put the visit in the "100 percent club" on Rotten Tomatoes.

Savion Hiter loved everything about his visit

This is about as good of a quote as you could hope to see from a player as talented as Hiter. It obviously is very early in his recruitment, but for him to already love Georgia this much is a great thing to see.

Hiter already has 25 offers including Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Texas, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, Georgia and many other top schools. Hiter has not named any leaders in his recruitment yet, but 247Sports indicates that Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Tennessee are currently the five schools leading the way so far.

This will be a recruitment Georgia fans will want to keep a close eye on as things begin to heat up on the recruiting trail for the 2026 class. Will Hiter continue to show interest in Georgia and make more visits throughout the spring and summer?

That is what UGA fans will want to keep an eye on once the offseason gets underway that will indicate that Georgia is in fact one of his top schools.
