Kirby Smart and Georgia football's coaching staff are now giving a lot of attention to the 2027 recruiting class. Tight end Brock Williams, who is the No. 1 tight end in the country, is one of the recruits Georgia is giving the most attention to so far, and it appears he is just as interested in UGA as well.
According to Rivals, Williams has scheduled an upcoming visit with Georgia for their game this season against Ole Miss on Oct. 18. The only problem is that Ohio State and Texas have also scheduled visits with Williams as well.

Georgia earns crucial visit from No. 1 TE
Ohio State will get the first crack at Williams for their week one showdown against Texas in Columbus on Aug. 30. The Lonhorns will then get their chance to host Williams later in the season on Nov. 22.
The fact that Georgia's visit is sandwhiched between two other programs really isn't that big of a deal. Williams is the top ranked tight end in the country, so it is expected that many of the elite programs will be at the top of his recruiting list, and so far that is the case with Williams. So if Georgia is going to win this recruitment, they are going to have to beat some great programs.
Thankfully no other program in the country is recruiting the tight end position better than Georgia. The Bulldogs have a whopping three tight ends committed to their 2026 recruiting class, and all three are ranked inside the top 12 in the country at their position. This group is headlined by five-star Kaiden Prothro, who is the No. 2 tight end in the country.
Williams' recruitment has a long way to go, but for now the Bulldogs are right where they want to be. And based on their recent recruiting success with the tight end position, Georgia fans should be hopeful they can come out on top with Williams.
