No. 3 TE in 2026 class speaks very highly of Georgia

Now that the early signing period for the 2025 recruiting class has passed, Georgia football can turn a lot of their attention to the 2026 class. And since UGA doesn't have another game for three weeks still, this is the perfect time for Kirby Smart and his staff to put in some work and lay the foundation for some of their top targets in the 2026 class.

And so far that is exactly what they are doing, especially with one of the top tight ends in the 2026 class.

That player is Brock Harris, who according to the 247Sports composite rankings is a four-star player and No. 26 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 3 tight end in his class and the No. 1 player from his home state of Utah.

Harris has recently announced his top six schools, which includes Georgia, Oregon, Miami (FL), Michigan, BYU and Utah, but his recent comments make is seem like Georgia may be the team at the top of his recruitment.

"I don’t know many schools that can do it like they (Georgia) do."

"I know I would get produced and get the best coaching in the country."

Georgia's history of great tight ends should help

Georgia has a great history of developing and producing elite tight ends. Most recently, Georgia has produced arguably the best tight end in the last decade or so in Brock Bowers, who has already rewritten the NFL record books during his rookie season with the Raiders.

So it seems like Harris notices this and sees how he could turn into one of the top tight ends in the country if he were to choose to Georgia.

No predictions have been in this recruitment yet, but Georgia appears to be doing everything right so far to put themselves in a position to win this recruitment. So be on the lookout later this summer to see if Georgia is able to bring Harris on campus, because that will be the best sign that Georgia is in fact one of his top candidates.
