The NFL Draft is quickly approaching and that is a very exciting thing for a Georgia football fan. Georgia is always one of the teams that dominates the NFL Draft as they routinely are one of the schools with the most players drafted each year. This includes in 2022 when Georgia set the record with 15 players drafted in the same draft.
It’s unlikely that Georgia will surpass that total this season, but thankfully no team looks primed to challenge that record. However, according to On3’s Rusty Mansell, Georgia has a chance to walk away with the most players selected in this year’s draft once again.
“Georgia could seriously end up with the most draft picks this year.”
#Georgia has the potential to have the most draft picks by a college in this year’s NFL Draft. 🐶

Georgia could dominate the NFL Draft this year
The NFL Draft is still over two months from now, and a lot can obviously change from now until then. The NFL Draft Combine still has to take place and every school will still put on their Pro Day as well. But sitting 2.5 months out, all of the talking heads surrounding the NFL Draft agree that Georgia could have yet another big year.
This includes having multiple players being unanimously predicted to be selected in the first three rounds of this year’s draft. On top of that, some have even suggested that Georgia could set a record by having the most defenders from the same school selected within the first 15 picks of the first round of the draft as well.
It remains to be seen if Georgia will challenge or beat any of these records this year, but one thing will remain constant later this spring. Kirby Smart and Georgia will continue to send a lot of talent to the NFL, and that talent will continue to dominate in the league as well.
