On3 insider shares massive update from Georgia's latest recruiting event

Georgia football had their final big recruiting event this weekend on Feb. 1 as Kirby Smart and his staff hosted their final Junior Day before a recruiting dead period. Junior Days are some of the most exciting events throughout the offseason months as UGA will bring in countless recruits from all across the country.

And the Junior Day this past weekend was not any different.

Georgia was confirmed to have hosted 32 players for this event, but there is a chance that number might have been even higher after some last second additions. And while having that many recruits on campus is a big deal, it doesn't mean anything unless Georgia is able to put on a show and impress each and every recruit. It can be difficult to know if that occurred or not, but one of the most respected recruiting insiders shared that Georgia had a very successful Junior Day on Saturday.

Georgia's Junior Day was a big hit

Steve Wiltfong is the Vice President of On3 and is a well known and respected recruiting insider. If Wiltfong is a new name to you, he essentially knows the most out of anyone in the country when it comes to recruiting intel and how each and every recruitment is going, especially for the top players and programs in the country. So when Witlfong says something, most of the public tends to believe him.

So Georgia fans should be very excited when Wiltfong says that Georgia set the bar high with a lot of the recruits that were on campus.

Sure this post doesn't share anything specific about any recruit in particular, but if you are a subscriber to On3 you can read what Wiltfong specifically said about a few players here. But to put into perspective how big of a deal this comment is, out of the 32 recruits Georgia hosted, 15 of them were four-stars. So there is a great chance that this comment from Wiltfong is directed at those players.

Time will tell if Georgia earns any commitments from these recruits or not, but this comment from Witlfong should make every Georgia football fans very excited.
