One college football coach has it out for Georgia

The college football season has come to an end after what was a disappointing finish to Georgia's season. But even if the season didn't end how anyone was hoping, the Bulldogs still accomplished a lot.

They went 11-1 in the regular season, beat all of their rivals and won an SEC Championship for the second season in a row. They also earned a top four seed in the College Football Playoff again this year, but unfortunately they lost in the quarterfinals to Ole Miss.

Looking at the season as a whole though it's clear that Georgia had a good year. That is why they finished at No. 6 in the final AP Poll and No. 5 in the final Coaches Poll.

Not everyone was impressed with Georgia though and that includes Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell who somehow did not include UGA in his final ballot

As mentioned, the coaches poll ranked Geogia No. 5 in their final poll of the season. Since they didn't even make the semifinals that is a very fair ranking that no one should be upset about. But everyone does have a right to be upste at Fickell who doesn't even think Georgia is a top 25 team.

What about going 12-2 isn't good enough to be ranked? Georgia won the SEC and beat countless really good teams this year, so how were they not ranked by Fickell?

In reality Fickell probably did this by mistake because there is no way anyone can justify not including Georgia in their top 25. But if he did this on purpose then his vote should be taken away immediately because there is no logical explanation for leaving Georgia off this list.

After something as egregious as this Georgia would probably want nothing more than to play Fickell and Wisconsin on the field. The only way that could happen is if they meet in the College Football Playoff, but seeing how bad the Badgers have been recently unfortunately means that this will more than likely never happen.
