Another day means more good news for Georgia football on the recruiting trail. The recruiting dead period has come to an end, so that means now more than ever is a good time for Kirby Smart and his staff to get in a good position with as many recruits as possible.
And that is exactly what happened this weekend with a pair of wide receivers.
4-star WR Brody Keefe
The first player to name Georgia as one of their top schools over the weekend is four-star wide receiver Brody Keefe.

According to Rivals, Keefe is the No. 36 wide receiver in the country and the No. 12 player from his home state of North Carolina. Keefe recently released his top eight schools, and Georgia made the cut along with Notre Dame, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio State, Duke and South Carolina.
No predictions have been made in this recruitment yet, but 247Sports has Ohio State as the one "warm" team in his recruitment, so it appears the Buckeyes are the team to beat right now.
4-star WR Calvin Russell
Four-star wide receiver Calvin Russell is the second player that recently named Georgia as one of his top schools.

According to the On3 industry rankings, Russell is the No. 28 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 4 wide receiver in the 2026 class and the No. 2 overall player from his home state of Florida.
Russell announced his top 12 schools on Saturday, and Georgia made the cut according to Hayes Fawcett with On3. Michigan, Miami (FL), North Carolina, Auburn, Oregon, LSU, Alabama, Syracuse, Florida State, Florida and USC also made the cut as well.
Similarly to Keefe, there are no official predictions logged in this recruitment yet. However, On3 has Miami as the heavy favorite right now, so Georgia has a lot of work to do to catch up to the Hurricanes in this one.
