One of the best parts about football season is watching future Georgia Bulldogs take the field with their high school teams for one final season. Georgia's 2026 recruiting class already has over 30 players in it, so that means UGA fans have a lot of opportunities to watch future Georgia stars before they even arrive in Athens.
While most Georgia commits took the field this week as the high school season is just getting underway, a few of Georgia's defensive line commits stood out Friday night. This includes four-star EDGE Khamari Brooks who made countless big plays on Friday.

Brooks wasn't the only future Bulldog on the defensive line to dominate on Friday either. Four-star defensive lineman Carter Luckie, who is the younger brother of current Georgia tight end Lawson Luckie, also had a big performance on Friday as well.

Georgia's history of elite defensive lines isn't ending anytime soon
The best Georgia football teams during the Kirby Smart era have been led by dominant defenses. And the leader of those defenses has typically been Georgia's defense line.
UGA's defensive lines have been full of NFL talent every season the past few years, and that immense talent has led Georgia to multiple SEC Championships and National titles. After watching Brooks and Luckie take the field for the first time this season, it is clear that Georgia's dominance in the defensive trenches isn't going to end anytime soon.
Both Brooks and Luckie will arrive in Athens next year and will look to make an immediate impact in a Georgia defensive line room that has less depth than it normally does. This means both players will have a chance to earn some playing time as true freshman during the 2026 season.
And if both players continue making big plays like they did on Friday, then they both will have a good chance to see the field as true freshman next year.
