Brock Bowers was on a recent podcast episode of Bussin’ With the Boys where he talked a lot about his time at Georgia. Many things were brought up during this interview, but the reaction one of the podcast hosts gave when he realized Bowers only lost two games in his entire college career is priceless.

Brock Bowers record at Georgia leaves podcast hosts speechless
In the above clip from Bowers’ interview, he is seen discussing Kirby Smart at first and how intense of a coach he was. But it was the ending of the clip that sticks out when hosts Taylor Lewan and Will Compton were shocked to find out Bowers only lost twice during his three year career at Georgia.
Lewan played college football at Michigan and Compton played at Nebraska, so both played at very respectable programs. But both could not believe it when Bowers said the only two losses in his career came at the hands of Alabama.
Georgia fans take this three year stretch for granted, but it really is an astonishing feat if fans stop to think about it. Bowers and Georgia played so many talented teams throughout this three year run, but only one team was able to get in their way. That team obviously was Alabama, who beat Georgia in the SEC Championship game during Bowers’ freshman and junior seasons. So that means Bowers never even lost a regular season game in his career, going a perfect 36-0.
Sure it’s unfortunate that Georgia lost to the Tide twice with the SEC title on the line, but Bowers did help Georgia win two National Championships with one coming against Alabama. So those are two losses that he can probably live with.
This interview just goes to show however that even other football players at the highest level can’t even fathom the success Bowers and Georgia have found the last few years. So it’s safe to say that no one has had it better than Georgia over the past five years.
