There have been a few intriguing conference matchups in college football so far. Last week, Michigan took down USC at the Big House with just 32 passing yards, and Tennessee's improved defense stifled Oklahoma in Josh Heupel’s return to Norman. However, those are untraditional conference bouts, products of realignment, Alabama and Georgia is different.

On Saturday night in Tuscaloosa, No. 4 Alabama and No. 2 Georgia will meet for the 74th time and the first since last year’s SEC Championship game that sent Nick Saban to the final College Football Playoff berth of his career. While it is a traditional matchup, this primetime top-five showdown on ABC will have a new-look with Kalen DeBoer leading the Crimson Tide against Kirby Smart’s Bulldogs.

The change at the top of Alabama’s program has also made the Crimson Tide home betting underdogs for the first time since 2007 against LSU, Nick Saban’s first season in Tuscaloosa. No surprise, ESPN’s College Gameday crew will be there for the historic entry into the rivalry’s record books, with Saban on the analyst desk, not the sidelines, and with ESPN and ABC’s television rights deal with the SEC, the game will be on ABC in primetime, not the usual CBS mid-afternoon slot that Georgia and Alabama fans have come to know.

Here is a look at the broadcasting crew that will be in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night.
