Georgia NFL mock draft: Stock up/down after the Senior Bowl
By Josh Yourish
While Bowers and Mims didn’t need the Senior Bowl to improve their draft stock, Ladd McConkey was coming off an injury-riddled year with limited production and needed to turn heads in Mobile. He may have had the most impressive week of any wide receiver in attendance.
Coming out of the Senior Bowl, ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller moved McConkey up to No. 33, the first pick of the second round to the Carolina Panthers. I think he could be selected even higher than that because of his elite route-running and versatility to play in the slot or outside.
The Bills have a lot of holes, but they started to add weapons for Josh Allen in last year’s draft taking Dalton Kincaid and I think they’ll continue this offseason. Stefon Diggs took a major step back and might have played his final game with Buffalo, so McConkey could be a great fit with the Bills.
