Ranking every Georgia football offensive coordinator of the last 25 years
It might be surprising to some to see Mike Bobo ranked lower on this list, but the simple fact is that despite his offenses putting up some gaudy numbers, Bobo has yet to coach an offense that was part of a conference or national championship team, and that means something.
You can't deny that Bobo can utilize the talent he's been given and get the most out of every player, but his play-calling -- particularly at crucial moments or in the biggest games -- can come into question at times. His propensity for becoming too conservative instead of keeping the pressure on and going for the kill has been brought up by many fans and analysts.
The good news is that Bobo still has opportunities to redeem himself and be thought of as one of Georgia's all-time best coordinators, but that status will be attached to some rings and trophies.
