Logic prevailed and the Georgia Bulldogs got the three annual opponents it deserved on the new SEC schedule. Beginning in 2026, Georgia will face the Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators and South Carolina Gamecocks on an annual basis, while the other 12 SEC teams will rotate in and out to make up the rest of their schedule. Auburn and Florida were obvious choices, and so was South Carolina...

While the rest of the 2026 SEC schedule will be released on Thursday evening, On3's Chris Low was able to break who each team's three annual opponents were going to be. Not every rivalry was going to be protected, but more were than were not. While we are on the edge of our seats waiting to see how the latest rendition of Oklahoma-Ole Miss is going to shake out, we can only hope to stay calm.

Here is every SEC program's three annual opponents for the next four seasons beginning in 2026.

Now let's turn our collective attention over to the three annual rivalries Georgia will be playing now.

3. South Carolina Gamecocks

Coming in third here is obviously South Carolina. While the Dawgs do not have the same storied tradition with the Gamecocks as they do in their two other annual rivalries, these teams have played each other a bunch over the years and have an interesting history. Ahead of their next matchup in 2026, Georgia holds an all-time series record of 55-19-2 over the Gamecocks, including four in a row.

Of course, this border war is not always for the faint of heart. Georgia often had a miserable time with South Carolina during the Steve Spurrier days in Columbia. He loved beating Georgia and largely owned Mark Richt. It should be noted that Georgia's last home loss came to South Carolina way back in 2019 in overtime. Will Muschamp was the Gamecocks' head coach during that unbelievable game.

Since South Carolina lacks a traditional rival in SEC play, landing Georgia makes a ton of sense here.

2. Auburn Tigers

Georgia's most storied rivalry is one of college football's best secondary ones out there. The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry between the Bulldogs and Auburn is a perfect example of why the SEC runs laps around other leagues. Georgia views Florida at its biggest rival in The Cocktail Party, while Auburn has nothing but hatred for Alabama in The Iron Bowl. But this game helped build up the SEC!

To date, Georgia owns a 65-56-8 record over the Tigers. Georgia has won eight in a row over its long-time cross-divisional rival. While Auburn will occasionally get the Dawgs down on The Plains at Jordan-Hare, the Tigers have not won in Athens since The Bush Administration. Which one? It does not matter... Of course, Auburn has ruined Georgia's seasons plenty of times in the past in this rivalry.

Just because neither recognizes either other at their most hated rival does not mean this one is chill.

1. Florida Gators

Of course, it is Florida. This is a Georgia Bulldogs' team fan site. Anything other than Florida at No. 1 is utter blasphemy and should not be tolerated. While every Dawg fan has another hated rival, everyone despises Florida with an undeniable passion. While Georgia has had the upper hand of late, including winning four in a row, seven of the last eight, and 10 of the last 14, we all know the nature of the rivalry.

To date, Georgia owns the all-time series lead at 56-44-2. Some Florida losses are disputed, but who cares? In a world where neutral-site rivalries continue to go away, this one has stood the test of time. Georgia does not want to go to Gainesville, just like Florida does not want to come to Athens. Instead, they meet in Jacksonville for what was once deemed The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

Georgia's rivalry with Florida is only one of the best in the SEC, but across the college football world.
