The college football season is officially over after Ohio State defeated Notre Dame in the National Championship game on Monday night. That means the entire college football world will now turn their attention to the 2025 season.

In Georgia football's case, they have had their full attention on the 2025 season for a few weeks already, and they have done an excellent job at upgrading certain positions that struggled this past season.

But who can Georgia fans expect to see as the starters next season on offense?

1. Quarterback

Georgia has a couple options they could roll with at quarterback now that Carson Beck is heading to Miami (FL). The obvious choice is Gunner Stockton, who replaced Beck after he was injured during the SEC Championship game.

But there is another QB who will challenge for the starting job, and that is Ryan Puglisi. Puglisi will be a redshirt freshman next season for UGA and he was a top 10 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class. He did not see the field this past season, but many reports have surfaced about how impressive he has been in practice all season.

There is also the chance that Georgia could bring in another QB from the transfer portal as Kirby Smart has been actively looking for one in the portal all offseason. But there is a slim chance that any QB he brings in will be able to beat out either of these two players.

So this is likely a battle between Stockton and Puglisi, but the edge has to go to Stockton for being the more experienced player who got to play in big moments this past season.

Prediction: Gunner Stockton
