Now that Georgia has their first two games out of the way, it’s time for them to begin SEC play. And there won’t be any chance for Georgia to get their feet wet as they have a very difficult start to SEC play.
Georgia will travel to Tennessee for their third game of the season, and this Vols team likely will be strong like they are most years. They will also be very motivated to beat Georgia because they’ve been unable to do so for the last eight years.
After that, Georgia will have their first bye week before their first showdown in Sanford Stadium of the season against Alabama. The Bulldogs will be looking for revenge from their loss to the Tide this season, and will also hope to finally get over this hurdle that has tripped them up so many times before.
While these two games are scary, it will show Georgia fans early on what this team is made of. We will all know right away if this team will compete for an SEC Championship and College Football Playoff title again or fall back to the middle of the pack.
Georgia doesn’t lose to Tennessee, and they finally get Alabama at home, so give the Bulldogs two big wins here that will propel them to No. 1 in the country.
Game 3 at Tennessee: Georgia wins 28-24
Game 4 vs. Alabama: Georgia wins 20-17
